This three-bedroom Cape Vidal Log Cabin offers:
- Three separate bedrooms with 2 single beds per room
- Comfortable Lounge area
- Fully equipped Kitchen
- Dining Area
- Bathroom (shower & bath)
- Outside Wooden patio
- Parking area
- Electric Fans (not air-conditioned)
A total of 27 Log Cabins are available.
Please note that pets are not allowed, all cabins are cleaned daily. Cape Vidal has a fuel bowser and a small curio shop.
Cape Vidal Highlights
Overnighting at Cape Vidal offers one so much, unrestricted beach access. Amazing wildlife viewing opportunities, snorkeling in the bay, and of course incredible fishing.
The beaches are pristine and stretch as far as the eye can see. Tropical warm Indian Ocean currents ensure swimming virtually year-round. One is allowed to launch ones vessel from the launch area, please note that this is a surf launch.
From Cape Vidal, one may enjoy the numerous loop roads, hides, and look-out points scattered within the park.
Directions to Cape Vidal Log Cabins
One can only access the Cape Vidal Log Cabins from St Lucia. One way in and out.
Once you arrive in St Lucia, (crossing the St Lucia Bridge) continue until you get to a roundabout. Take the first exit on the left and continue until you get to the Eastern Shores Entrance Gate, (Cape Vidal). From the gate, it is approximately 28km to Cape Vidal.
Once you have reached Cape Vidal, you will have to check in at the office (left-hand side). The ladies in the office will then give you directions to your Log Cabin.

What to Bring Along?
Cape Vidal itself only has a small curio shop, so it is advisable to take all of one's food along. The Cabins are fully equipped (self-catering) with an outdoor BBQ area. The weather is generally ideal for some amazing Braais so take enough food along.
Kids? why not pack the bicycles, body boards, kites, and any other toys to keep them busy? The camp is a safe area for them to play.
