The St Lucia Ski Boat Club is open to the public and is situated on the banks of the St Lucia Estuary home to an astonishing 800 hippos and 1200 Nile Crocodiles.
It's the ideal restaurant to enjoy late afternoon as the sun starts to set while enjoying one of the numerous scrumptious meals on offer. Sit back and enjoy the grunts of the Hippos and African Fish Eagles calling one another.

The club offers indoor dining as well as outside dining. The menu is quite extensive and an obvious treat would be the fish and chips, and one of the most popular items on the menu is a curry. Believe me, it's delicious.

The St Lucia Ski Boat Club is one of the only restaurants to have views of both the St Lucia Estuary as well as the Indian Ocean.
Seating is both indoors and outdoors with 2 viewing decks.
Getting to the Ski Boat Club:
Travel down the main road (Mkcenzie Street) past the fresh fruit market on your right, once you pass Amazulu Lodge on your left turn left, and continue straight all the way until you see the Ski Boat Club on your right-hand side. There is ample complimentary parking.
Other attractions close by include the Boardwalk Market as well as the infamous St Lucia Boardwalk Hike.
St Lucia Ski Boat Club Snoek Derby
For all of the Ski Boaters, this annual competition takes place generally in winter. This being due to when the annual queen mackerel pass the shores of St Lucia.

The club offers a tractor for skippers wanting their boats to be pushed into the surf zone, please do contact the club for times and costs. All skippers and crew have to have a valid fishing license and all boats need to be surveyed with a valid certificate, please.
The St Lucia Ski Boat Club is a festive club and is truly a welcoming place to enjoy while in St Lucia.
Annual Ski Boats do take place at the club, should you like to join the club please make contact with the commodore.

Gorgeous spot with rooftop views of the estuary. Prawns are an absolute must-try!!!! Best I've ever had. It's a great hidden spot with mostly locals.

This place is a 5km or so drive out of town towards the boardwalk, so worth combining the boardwalk and a great pub-style lunch outside. My lunch was good but the thing that stood out was the curried vegetables that were a side to the meal. They were amazing!

We visited twice - once to watch sport on the big screens, and once for an evening meal. Lovely food and a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended!
Great place, with friendly service..good prices. I ate a new dish. I forgot the name but it was a combination of a pizza and hamburgers. Good, tasty, and enough for the rest of the day.
