This safari offers one more exclusivity versus the normal safari where 9 clients join on a safari. Thus you are assured of a window seat during your next adventure into the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. This park is home to the African Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo). Note that for a park to be known as a true Big 5 Reserve it should include Black Rhino, fortunately, the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park has both Black and White Species of Rhino.
Covering an area of 96000 hectares, you will be amazed by the absolute beauty that this park has to offer. Scenic Picnic spots, hilly topography, bushland, open grasslands, meandering rivers and hides. It truly is an amazing park.
Did you know that this park also single-handedly saved the Rhino species from near extinction during the 60's when less than 200 Rhinos roamed the planet?
Other wildlife species that may also be encountered out on this Safari for Six People include the likes of Cheetah and Wild Dogs to mention but he larger predators within this park.

Six On Safari Hluhluwe
Should you be overnighting in St Lucia then your ranger will pick you up at your accommodation at 05:00 am. You will then be transferred through to the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, (Nyalazi Gate). The drive is approximately 45 minutes so sit back and maybe get some shut eye. Please note that this service is complimentary.
Not overnighting in St Lucia? Not to worry, you can meet us at the gate (Nyalazi Gate-Imfolozi Park). The entrance has ample parking space so not to worry.
Once everyone is aboard your Ranger will offer you a quick safety briefing and then you are off into the most impressive park in South Africa.
Generally, you will travel south (Imfolozi section) this area is larger in size, a lot quieter, and offers a lot more wildlife sighting opportunities.
Enjoy a true Bush Breakfast, at one of the numerous vantage points. Lunch is a true treat, a South African Braai (BBQ) with salads and refreshments.

The park is so vast and the scenery is breathtaking. There were only 4 on our tour and our guide was Theo. He did a great job finding many animals including rhinos, giraffes, elephants, zebra, impala, and warthogs. Lunch was a delicious braai of steak and sausages grilled by Theo himself and accompanied by local salads and a homemade dessert. A great day! Highly recommended!
