Absolutely yes, we only cancel when the weather does not permit us to depart.
It is not guaranteed however the likelihood is high.
Please if possible take a light jacket along, camera and cumfy clothing.
Without a doubt yes, should you not see a Hippo we will happily re-reimburse you immediately. Please note that this has never happened before though. We can not however guarantee sightings of the Nile Crocodiles.
Unfortunately, we can not guarantee sightings of the Nile Crocodiles, however, please do note that there is an estimated 1200 Nile Crocodiles in the Estuary.
The vessels offer a maximum of 15 Seats per vessel. These vessels have been purposely built with smaller groups in mind, being more intimate and personal.
The vessels also have the shallowest drafts and therefore are able to go where no other vessels can.
Ample room and space ensure that you will the perfect view of all wildlife while out on a Hippo Boat Cruise in St Lucia.

All Skippers / Guides have their Samsa Skippers Tickets (passenger endorsements), Theta or FUGASA ( game ranger certificates) and are all First Aid Qualified. The passion and dedication is evident and we assure you that they will far exceed your expectations.
Our Vessels have been custom built and offer the shallowest draft's on the Estuary ensuring you the closest up-close sightings while out on a boat cruise. Each vessel accommodates a total of 15 clients only, this ensures ample room to move around.

Informative, Interesting and Relaxing
This is a great way to see a side of South Africa you'll never see from a car. The boats are small enough that you can interact with your guide and they can get in narrow spaces. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and was happy to answer the millions of questions my kids asked. It's a great way to experience life on the river in South Africa - in ways that you'd never see from shore. The crocs and hippos were amazing too. The boat was comfortable and the whole experience was very relaxing. A great deal and worth every penny!
