Testimonials
“Unique experience and brilliant service”
My 2 friends and I travelled to St Lucia for a 24h safari experience. We did the night safari with Timbo, the 5am safari with Jacques and also the boat trip. All 3 trips were great, but the highlight is probably the 5am trip to the iSimangaliso game reserve with Jacques. Jacques was a very good guide, with great knowledge about the reserve and the animals. We saw giraffes, elephants, impalas, a cheetah, white and black rhinos, and also lions eating their kill. Jacques' passion and enthusiasm showed during the trip was contagious and contributed to the feeling of an unique experience, also created, at least for me, a slight career envy. What a great job where the lions and elephants share the office with you 🙂 We also very much appreciated the care shown towards us, it was probably one of the coldest days in a long while (as we were told), the provided blankets and tea/coffee was very welcome. once again, thank you!
“Half day Safari and Boat Safari St Lucia”
We booked the half day safari at Hluhluwe-imfolozi game park and the St. Lucia estuary boat tour as a package. We were picked up by our driver Mbeki at 5am and taken to the game park where we had an awesome game drives with plenty of animal sightings and breakfast in the bush. It was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed it very much. In the afternoon we did the boat trip to watch hippos and crocodiles at the St Lucia estuary. The guide Dennis was very knowledgeable and gave a very good insight in the animals. It's a great way to see a bit of everything if you've got limited time, like we did. We highly recommend the company and the guides.
“Professional and well organized ”
We have done two tours with Heritage Tours & Safaris - 2 h Hippo Tour and the full day Hluhluwe safari tour. Both tours where amazing. We have seen many animals and got a good overview/description of the animals' behavior/living situation from the tour guides. In general, the company staff and the tour guides where very professional and well organized.
All skippers/ rangers are qualified in their respective fields, have years of knowledge and experience in the various reserves and estuary. Each skipper / ranger is also first aid qualified and all rangers have pdp's (professional driving permits as per S.A. road Act).
These men and woman have dedicated their lives to wildlife and their environment, their information is incredible and we are sure that you will have a tremendous time out on Safari with them.
