7 Night South Africa Safari Package - Overview
Day 1
Arrive at King Shaka International Airport, (Durban) and meet with your guide that will transfer you to St Lucia. Transfers are also available from other areas within Durban.
This 2,5 hr transfer takes you past sugar plantations, forestry, and traditional Zulu villages. Sit back and relax once in St Lucia, get settled in at your accommodation and then meet with the office team. Late afternoon enjoy an introductory tour of the town and the surrounding area with a magnificent sunset and sundowner.
Day 2
A nice and early start to the day with a 05:00 am pick-up as you travel to Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park for a Full-Day Big 5 Safari. This the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa, excited yet?
Explore this wonderland of wildlife, home to the African Big 5, Cheetah, Wild Dogs and many other wild species you sure are in for a tremendous day. Your experienced and knowledgeable ranger will ensure that he gets you to the best areas within the reserve. All meals, refreshments, and levies included.
Day 3
A later start to the day departing after breakfast you head off to South Africa's very first World Heritage site, iSimangaliso Wetland Park. This eastern shores excursion will offer you exactly why it's a heritage site, game viewing, grasslands, forests, vegetated sand dunes, mangroves, lookouts, wildlife, and snorkeling (tide dependant) once you arrive at Cape Vidal.
Soak up the sun, tropical weather and pristine beaches all the while your ranger gets a picnic lunch ready.
Day 4
09:00 am departure as we travel towards Hluhluwe for what has to be a magnificent and unforgettable experience (Elephant Interaction). Enjoy an up-close meeting of either Rambo, Jabulani or Rachel at Bayete. Learn some incredible information regarding these fascinating animals.
All in all its an amazing and incredible day.
Day 5
It's an early start to the day as we fetch you at 05:00 am for your Big5 Half-Day Big 5 Safari in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. It's a day of magnificent game viewing in the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa. Sit back and enjoy as your experienced ranger gets you to the best areas within the reserve. After this splendid Big 5 Safari, you travel to Veyane Zulu cultural centre in the afternoon. Customs, culture and dancing experience firsthand.
Day 6
It's a relaxed start to the day, enjoy exploring the town on foot. Meet some of the locals and a visit to the local curio market is always a must. Today you will enjoy a late afternoon Hippo & Croc 2 hour Boat Cruise on the St Lucia Estuary up close and personal sightings. Then in the evening go out on a Night Drive Safari into the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, this 2/3 hour outing is definitely a must while in Africa.
Day 7
You truly are in for a super treat today as we travel once again towards Hluhluwe to the Emdoneni Cheetah Rehabilitation center. Meet the staff and learn more about these impressive animals also why they here and when they are rehabilitated. Late afternoon enjoy a late afternoon Sunset Western Shores Safari. Go in search of Leopard, Buffalo, Elephants, Rhino and of course many other species on this your last truly remarkable African Safari.
Day 8
This your final day, enjoy a leisurely and hearty breakfast. It is time to say our goodbyes and for you to enjoy maybe yet another exciting destination while in South Africa.
